“I consider myself to be a team player. Therefore, it is especially important for me to know, whether a great emphasis is laid on the common way of thinking as well as on the encouragement and development of teamwork. I think Rábalux is outstanding in that respect as well.”

Although I graduated from the University of Zagreb as a lawyer, I have worked in sales all my life. An international milieu full of challenges has always attracted me, which encourages you to come up with new ideas every day. During my career I acquired experience on the international and the domestic market as well and I worked in the food industry and outside both in retail and wholesale. In my professional life I was the active participant of a team on several occasions, in which our primary task was to break into a new market. At the beginning of my career I worked first in the team of “Segafredo Zanetti Coffee” (Strauss Group) and later on in the team of “Elite Coffee” so as to develop our partner links in the European and Middle-Eastern markets. During that period, I travelled a lot and visited once the Israel Headquarters of the corporate group. After “Elite Coffee” moved out of the Croatian market I went to work for one of the market leading wholesale companies. I learned here how you can position a brand, how a company can satisfy customers’ needs and even surpass their expectations. Following that I started to work for Rábalux where I immediately realized that I could successfully utilize the knowledge and experience I have gathered so far and make personal professional progress via the new challenge at a corporate group with such a stable financial background and an experience of several decades. When I joined the company, the owners selected a professional management to lead the corporate group and the centre. The organizational changes in within the parent company included a lot of challenges not to speak of the fact that it was an enormous task to ensure the stable operation of the Croatian subsidiary in the beginning. On the one hand it was extremely inspiring that I was given freedom from the centre to make the Croatian company successful, but on the other hand it was also very comforting that due to the organizational changes I was constantly helped by a supportive and professional management that I could always count on. I still love the new challenges, the international milieu and the cooperation with the centre and the other subsidiaries.
